Review: Undead and Unfinished by Mary Janice Davidson

The devil makes a deal with Betsy, the vampire queen.  You see, Betsy is trying to make her way through the Book of the Dead but isn't having any luck.  Without the devil's help, she may never get through the damned book.
Laura's mother is Lucifer.  Lucifer is not happy with Laura, who would rather help than raise hell.  The deal was made and now Laura and her sister have to spend some time in hell.  Literally.  Lucifer wants Laura to have a change of heart, or no heart at all, when it comes to her current lifestyle.

Will Laura find herself gravitating to the dark side or will she be naughty and deny her mothers wishes?

This is the first book of MaryJanice's that I've read.  I love that Laura has a heart of gold but her mother is so evil.  The conflict between them makes for a very interesting read.  I'm going to have to get books 1-8 now.
