The Drowned Girls by Loreth Anne White Review

Angie Pallorino is a kick ass detective.  Unfortunately, there are those on the force that aren’t convinced that she has what it takes and are ready to see her removed from the force.  There are skeletons in her closet.  Some of which she is unaware.

Detective James Maddocks has picked up his life and moved to Victoria to be closer to his daughter, Ginny.  He is trying to make up for his absence in her life.

James and Angie meet under some very unorthodox circumstances.   When they learn who the other is, it comes as quite a shock.  Then, when they are partnered up, things get hairy.

There is a killer on the loose and Angie is determined to catch this sadistic freak who is torturing and killing young teens.  Little does she know, this case goes far deeper than she ever could have imagined.

The Drowned Girls is a fast-paced thriller that keeps you sucked in to every single page.  The author’s writing style is intoxicating.    I inhaled this book and I am so excited that there are more Angie Pallorino books slated for the future.  If you like murder mystery thrillers, add this to your list of books to read.  You won't be disappointed!
